Product Description

Pastry-based complementary food for regulating intestinal transit in dogs and cats.

Indications

Aticare Paraffin prevents the formation of hairballs (trichobezoars) in the digestive tract and promotes their elimination.
The product is also recommended for elderly and sedentary subjects and in all situations where it is necessary to restore normal intestinal transit.

Composition

Malt extract (75%); liquid paraffin (22%); light liquid paraffin (3%).
Analytical components: Crude protein: 3%, Crude fiber: 0.03%, Crude oils and fats: 40%  and Crude ash: 2.5%.

Directions for use and Dosage

It is recommended to start with 3 consecutive days of treatment and continue with weekly administrations according to the following schedule:

• Subjects < 10 kg = 1 g/kg/day, corresponding to 1 cm of paste/kg/day;
• Subjects >10 kg = 2 g/kg/day, corresponding to 2 cm of paste/kg/day.

It is possible to mix the paste into the food and divide it into 2-3 daily administrations.

The dosage can be changed at the discretion of the Veterinarian.
