Advantix Spot-on antiparasitic for dogs has a specific and effective action for the treatment and prevention of infestations by fleas, lice and larvae.

Each pipette of Advantix provides repellent activity against:

• Eliminates fleas (treatment and prevention); can be used for: be used as part of the treatment strategy for flea allergy dermatitis (FAD).
• Eliminates lice.
• Repels and eliminates ticks, reducing the risk of transmission of CVBDs (diseases such as borreliosis, rickettsiosis and ehrlichiosis).
• Repels mosquitoes and sandflies, reducing the risk of transmission of CVBDs (diseases such as leishmaniasis).
• Repels horseflies, helping to prevent fly bite dermatitis.

One treatment provides repellent (anti-feeding) activity against sandflies (Phlebotomus papatasi for two weeks and Phlebotomus perniciosus for three weeks), mosquitoes (Aedes aegypti for two weeks and Culex pipiens for four weeks) and horseflies (Stomoxys calcitrans). for four weeks.

Composition

Active ingredients: 100 mg imidacloprid, 500 mg permethrin.

Directions for use

Advantix is ​​contained in single-dose pipettes for easy application:
Divide the contents of the pipette into one or more points between the shoulder blades and the base of the tail.
Make the skin visible: Part the coat to make the skin visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze a portion onto each of the application points. Do not apply an excessive amount of product to any one point, to avoid it running down the animal's sides.
Empty completely: At the end of the application, check that the pipette has been completely emptied.

Warnings

The product should not be used on puppies under 7 weeks of age. Do not use on cats.
For the treatment and prevention of flea infestations (C. canis, C. felis) and for the treatment of lice (Trichodectes canis) in dogs.
Fleas on dogs are killed within one day of treatment.
One treatment prevents further flea infestations for four weeks.
The product can be used as part of a treatment strategy for flea allergy dermatitis (FAD).
The product has persistent acaricidal and repellent activity against tick infestations (Rhipicephalus sanguineus and Ixodes ricinus for four weeks, and Dermacentor reticulatus for three weeks).
Ticks already present on the dog may not be killed within two days after treatment and may remain attached and visible.
Advantix is ​​extremely toxic to cats and could be fatal due to the unique physiology of cats, which are unable to metabolize certain compounds, including permethrin.
 In case of frequent exposure to water, the persistence of the product's efficacy may be reduced. In these cases, do not repeat the treatment more frequently.
