Product Description

Visuxl Gel is a lubricating and antioxidant ophthalmic gel based on coenzyme Q10 and vitamin E TPGS, suitable for both day and night use.

Indications

Cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose is an extremely safe and inert biosynthetic substance, more effective and long-lasting. Its cross-linking and the lack of specific enzymes capable of degrading the molecule at the ocular surface stabilizes the polymer, giving it a longer half-life than traditional hyaluronic acids. Furthermore, cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose is a hydrogel that in its native state has specific visco-supplementation, hydration, mucomimetic, and substance delivery characteristics. The combination of cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose and antioxidant/antiradical substances gives Visuxl Gel a more effective action. effective in cases of:
- moderate-severe dry eyes;
- foreign body trauma;
- alterations in the continuity of the corneal and conjunctival surface after corneal refractive surgery, corneal transplant, in order to alleviate the typical post-surgical symptoms by acting as a cushion between the eyelid and the corneal and conjunctival epithelium;
- alterations of the ocular surface linked to metabolic diseases (diabetes).

Directions for use

Instill 1 drop of Visuxl Gel in the conjunctival sac of each eye twice a day or as advised by your ophthalmologist.
Application:
- remove the protective cap;
- instill 1 drop in the conjunctival sac of each eye by slightly pulling the lower eyelid downwards and looking upwards. Dispense the product by lightly pressing the bottle;
- after use, immediately close the bottle: the solution can be reused within 60 days after first opening.

Components

100 ml of Visuxl Gel contain: coenzyme Q 10 100 mg, vitamin E TPGS (D-alpha-tocopheryl polyethylene glycol 1,000 succinate) 500 mg; cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose 400 mg; poloxamer 407 9,000 mg; disodium EDTA 100 mg; buffered isotonic solution q.s. to 100 ml.

Warnings

Do not use the product if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the components. If adverse reactions occur, discontinue use and consult your eye doctor. The product can also be instilled while wearing contact lenses: it does not alter their characteristics and may help hydrate soft contact lenses. Instill the product at least 5 minutes after using other medications. Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the package. Wash your hands before applying the product. Do not touch your eyes with the tip of the bottle. Do not use the bottle if damaged. For ophthalmic use only, do not ingest.

Storage

The product remains sterile for up to 60 days after first opening the bottle.
The expiration date indicated refers to the product in its intact packaging and stored correctly.
Keep the product away from sources of light, heat, and out of the reach of children. Store the product at room temperature (15-25°C).
Shelf life in intact packaging: 24 months.
