Product Description

Tablets to promote relaxation.

Indications

Valeriana Dispert is a mild sedative also useful  to promote night-time rest.

Composition

Active ingredients: Dry extract of Valerian root prepared with ethanol 70% v/v.
Excipients: Dextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, macrogol 4000, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, lake, hypromellose, talc, light magnesium oxide, gum arabic, sucrose, povidone K25, macrogol 6000, titanium dioxide, sodium carmellose, white wax, carnauba wax.

Directions for use and Dosage

Children: 1-2 coated tablets twice a day.
Adults: 1-3 coated tablets three times a day dì.

The coated tablets should be swallowed without chewing.

Warnings

Do not exceed the recommended doses. The medicine contains lactose and sucrose.

Overdose

Valerian root at a dose of approximately 20 g causes mild symptoms (fatigue, abdominal cramps, a feeling of slight dizziness, chest tightness, hand tremors, and mydriasis) that disappear within 24 hours.
If symptoms appear, appropriate treatment should be initiated.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients listed;
Generally contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Interactions

No interactions have been reported.
The patient is advised to seek medical advice if he or she is taking other medicines.

Side effects

There are no known adverse effects attributable to the use of the medicinal product under the recommended conditions and for short periods of time.
Reporting suspected adverse reactions that occur after authorization of the medicinal product is important, as it allows continuous monitoring of the benefit/risk balance of the medicinal product.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Since no data are available on use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as a precaution, its use is generally not recommended.
No adverse effects have been reported following the common use of valerian root as a medicinal product, but adequate experimental data are lacking.

Storage

Do not store above 30 degrees C.

100 coated tablets of 45 mg
