Indications

Trofodermin 5 mg/ml + 5mg/ml Skin Spray, Suspension is a medicine based on Clostebol Acetate and Neomycin Sulfate:

• Clostebol Acetate belongs to a group of medicines called steroids.
  It helps heal skin lesions.
• Neomycin Sulfate is an antibiotic.
  It fights skin infections caused by bacteria.

This medicine is used to help heal skin wounds such as:

• Skin abrasions and erosions;
• Lesions and wounds, such as varicose ulcers, due to poor blood circulation, bedsores (due to immobility in bed) or ulcers from trauma;
• Fissures (cuts) on the nipple, which may appear during breastfeeding;
• Anal fissures (cuts around the anus);
• Burn wounds;
• Infected wounds;
• Wounds that are slow to heal;
• Irritation, redness and sensitivity of the skin that appears after radiotherapy (radiodermatitis);
• Dryness, cracking with ulceration of the skin or peeling.

Ingredients

In a pressurized container:
Active ingredients: Clostebol Acetate 0.150 g and Neomycin Sulfate 0.150 g.
Excipients: Magnesium Stearate, Liquid Paraffin and Isobutane at 3.2 bar.

Directions for use and Dosage

The recommended dose is 1-2 applications per day.
Spray the cutaneous suspension on the wound and cover with sterile gauze if necessary.
Use only locally on the skin.

Warnings

Do not use Trofodermin continuously, on large areas of skin and for long periods of time, as the neomycin sulphate contained in the medicine can cause allergic reactions. cause kidney or hearing problems.
Shake the container before use, do not spray the suspension on a flame
or on an incandescent object, do not turn the container upside down while dispensing,
do not inhale or spray the suspension in the eyes.
For those who participate in sports activities: the use of the drug without therapeutic need
constitutes doping and can may still result in positive doping tests.
Children
Do not use Trofodermin for long periods of time, especially in young children.
Trofodermin with food, drinks and alcohol
There are no known interactions.
Driving and using machinery
It does not interfere.

Overdose

In case of applications for long periods and on large areas of injured skin, side effects may arise due to the passage of the drug into the bloodstream, such as increased hair on the skin.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or to any of the excipients.

Interactions

Storage

The container is a pressurized container.
Do not pierce or puncture the container. Do not burn the container, even after use.

Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste.
