Indications

The mercury-free gallium clinical thermometer contains an alloy of gallium, indium and tin called Galinstano.

How to use

• Before taking the temperature, check whether the liquid column is below the first numbered mark;
• Clean the glass thermometer before and after use;
• Position the thermometer on the body according to the type of measurement desired (axillary, rectal, oral);
• After approximately 4 minutes the thermometer has detected the body temperature;
• After the measurement, the indicator liquid must be brought back below 36 degrees. To do this, grasp the upper end of the thermometer with your index finger and thumb and shake it with about 15-20 rapid wrist movements.
