Indications

Recugel by Bausch & Lomb is an eye gel indicated in case of dryness, burning or tired eyes, excessive use of contact lenses and foreign bodies. It acts quickly and long-lastingly to restore, hydrate and protect the surface of the eyes.

Composition

• Dexpanthenol 5% (medicinal substance): Belonging to the vitamin B group, dexpanthenol helps protect eye health, improve hydration of the ocular surface and has a refreshing effect.
• Carbomer: Forms a three-dimensional network capable of storing large quantities of water, for prolonged hydration.

Directions for use and Dosage

Gently lower the lower eyelid and instill a small amount of Recugel, even several times a day. Do not use with contact lenses.

Warnings

Do not use if the tube is damaged. To prevent possible contamination of the gel, make sure the tip of the tube does not touch the eye or fingers. Always close the tube tightly after use. Please remember that only the same person should use a tube of Recugel. Allow at least 15 minutes between administrations if more than one type of medication is being used. Recugel should not be used while wearing contact lenses as it may contaminate the surface of the lenses. Therefore, lenses should be removed before using Recugel and reinserted at least 15 minutes after administration. Even when used as directed, this medical device may cause temporary blurred vision due to the formation of streaks. Patients who drive or operate machinery are advised to exercise caution. In very rare cases, cases of hypersensitivity may occur. If you experience a hypersensitivity reaction to the product, do not continue using the preparation. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, consult your doctor before use.
