Product Description

Cream for insect bites and other skin irritations.

Indications

Reactifargan 2% is a cream for the local symptomatic treatment of localized skin irritations such as:

• Redness.
• Burning.
• Itching.
• Sunburn.

Ingredients

100 g of cream contain:

Active ingredients: Promethazine 2.00 g.
Excipients:polyacrylamide isoparaffin laureth-7, octyl methoxycinnamate methyl-para-hydroxybenzoate, propyl-para-hydroxybenzoate, lavender compound oil, water depurata.

Directions for use and Dosage

Apply 3-4 times a day.
Do not exceed the recommended doses.

Warnings

Prolonged and inappropriate use of the product may give rise to allergic sensitization phenomena with consequent worsening of the symptoms.
If this occurs, it is necessary to suspend treatment and consult a doctor in order to establish an appropriate therapy.
Since the application can delay the healing process, it should not be used more than once. for 3-4 consecutive days on lesions where this phenomenon is occurring.
In case of sunburn, apply the product and avoid further exposure of the irritated skin to the sun.
If a rash, irritation and burning sensation appear, the treatment should be discontinued.
Keep the medicine out of the reach of children.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients, in eczema and in all secreting lesions.
The medicine is contraindicated in children under 2 years of age.

Interactions

There are no known drug interactions between locally applied promethazine and other topical drugs.

Side effects

Topical application of promethazine may cause side effects. In some cases, it may cause skin photosensitization.
The presence of a sunscreen in the formula helps avoid or limit these effects in those exposed to the sun after applying the product.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

In pregnant women, the product should be used only if strictly necessary and under medical supervision.
