Product Description

Topical gauze, useful for promoting the healing process of lesions and reconstructing tissues.

Indications

FITOSTIMOLINE 15% + 1% Impregnated gauze is a preparation used in the case of ulcers and bedsores, to help tissue repair and heal lesions.

Composition

Each gauze is impregnated to saturation with 4 g of cream, containing in 100 g, the following active ingredients: aqueous extract of Triticum vulgare (dry residue equal to 200 mg/100 ml) 15 g; 2-phenoxyethanol 1 g.

Excipients

Polyethylene glycol 400; polyethylene glycol 600; polyethylene glycol 1500; polyethylene glycol 4000; glycerin; purified water.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or to any of the excipients.

Dosage and Directions for Use

Treatment with FITOSTIMOLINE 15% + 1% Impregnated Gauze should be one to two applications a day, making sure that the dressing always remains moist, soft and malleable.

Take the gauze with sterile forceps and apply it directly to the previously cleansed and disinfected area. Cover with sterile gauze and then with absorbent cotton (in the case of highly secreting wounds). In subsequent dressings, unless there are specific contraindications, the area can be washed first with sterile water only, as the cream is completely water-dispersible and leaves no residue.

Warnings and precautions

The use, especially if prolonged, of all topical products can give rise to sensitization phenomena. If this occurs, treatment must be suspended and, if necessary, appropriate therapy instituted. The same applies in the event of the development of insensitive germs. Keep the medicine out of the reach of children.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Fitostimoline 15% + 1% Impregnated Gauzes can be used without any problems during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
