Product Description

Okitask® in orodispersible sachets belongs to the category of anti-inflammatory and antirheumatic drugs.

Indications

Okitask® in orodispersible sachets is indicated for pain of various origins and nature, in particular: headache, toothache, neuralgia, menstrual pain, muscle and osteoarticular pain.

Components

One sachet contains:

Active ingredient: ketoprofen lysine salt 40 mg (corresponding to 25 mg of ketoprofen).

Excipients: povidone, colloidal silica, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, eudragit EPO, sodium dodecyl sulfate, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, aspartame, mannitol, xylitol, talc, lime flavoring, lemon flavoring, flavoring frescofort.

Directions for use and dosage 

Adults and children over 15 years: 1 sachet once, or repeated 2-3 times a day, for more intense forms of pain. The contents of the sachet can be placed directly on the tongue: Okitask® orosoluble dissolves in saliva, allowing it to be used without water.

It is preferable to take the product on a full stomach.

Do not exceed the recommended doses: elderly patients in particular should stick to the minimum dosages indicated above.

Do not use for prolonged periods of time without medical advice.

Contraindications

In case of:

•  hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or to any of the excipients
•  skin rashes, rhinitis, asthma caused by the use of other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
•  gastric or duodenal ulcer, gastritis and chronic digestive disorders (dyspepsia), history of gastrointestinal bleeding, ulceration or perforation
•  leukopenia (reduction in number of white blood cells), thrombocytopenia (reduction in the number of platelets), active bleeding or bleeding diathesis (predisposition to bleeding)
•  ongoing treatment with anticoagulants
•  severe renal, hepatic or cardiac insufficiency
•  concomitant use of other anti-inflammatory drugs and acetylsalicylic acid
•  pregnancy and breastfeeding
•  children and adolescents under 15 years of age
•  major surgical procedures
