Product Description

Antinausea and anti-vomiting tablets.

Indications

Novago is useful as an anti-vomiting, anti-nausea and anti-vertigo agent in motion sickness.

Composition

Active ingredients: Dimenhydrinate 50 mg.
Excipients: Corn starch, lactose monohydrate, talc, magnesium stearate.

Directions for use and Dosage

Adults and adolescents (from 13 to 18 years of age): 1 tablet half an hour before travel; if necessary, repeat the dose after 3-4 hours, up to a maximum of 4 tablets in 24 hours. Children (6 to 12 years of age): half a tablet half an hour before travel; if necessary, repeat the half-tablet dose after 6-8 hours, up to a maximum of 2 tablets (4 half tablets) in 24 hours. The tablets have a score line that makes them easy to divide into two halves.

Warnings

Use with caution in patients suffering from glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy, other urinary retention syndromes, intestinal obstruction, bronchial asthma, epilepsy. The medicine contains lactose: use with caution in patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, the Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Do not administer the medicine during pregnancy. Its use is not recommended in newborns and premature babies, nor during breastfeeding.
