Features

The Contour Next strips use a small amount of blood (0.6 µL) that is automatically aspirated by capillary action into the reactive end of the strip: after a 5-second countdown, the glucose concentration in the blood sample automatically appears on the display.
The glucose in the blood sample reacts with the enzyme FAD glucose dehydrogenase (FAD-GDH) and the mediator, generating a flow of electrons that produces a current proportional to the glucose concentration in the sample.
Contour Next strips allow glucose determination in both capillary whole blood and venous blood.

• Glucose dehydrogenase 21% w/w.
• Mediator 54% w/w.
• Non-reactive substances 25% w/w.

At room temperature (0°-30°C).
