Composition

METEOSIM 40 mg chewable tablets: One tablet contains: active ingredient: simethicone 30% emulsion 133.3 mg (equivalent to simethicone 40 mg)

Excipients

Chewable tablets: lactose, alginic acid, calcium silicate monohydrate, sodium saccharin, sodium bicarbonate, polyvinylpyrrolidone, methylcellulose.

Therapeutic indications

Gastrointestinal flatulence, aerophagia in adults, infants and children

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to simethicone or any of the excipients.

Dosage

Adults: 4 tablets per day (2 at the end of each main meal). The tablets should be chewed. Infants and children: 15 drops (=0.6 ml), 2-4 times a day, preferably after meals or as prescribed by your doctor. Dissolve the drops in a little water.

Warnings and precautions

Do not exceed the recommended dose. After a short period of treatment without appreciable results, consult your doctor. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. The medicine is not contraindicated for subjects suffering from celiac disease.
