Indications

Mepilex Lite is designed to help you manage acute and chronic, low-exuding wounds.
The thin, soft, conformable profile makes it easier to treat difficult-to-dress areas of the body.
It can be easily cut to size.
This dressing includes Safetac Technology, the original silicone adhesive contact layer that minimises pain.
We have designed it to mould gently to the skin without sticking to the moist wound.
This allows it to be removed easily without damaging the skin.
This Mepilex Lite means less pain for patients.
It also seals the wound edges to protect the skin from leakage and maceration.
Mepilex Lite is clinically proven to significantly reduce the severity of skin reactions caused by radiation treatment.

Directions for use and Dosage

1. Clean the wound according to normal procedures.
2. Dry the periwound area thoroughly.
3. Remove the protective films and apply the adhesive side to the wound.
4. Do not pull the dressing during application.
5. For best results, Mepilex Lite should cover at least 2 cm of healthy skin around the perimeter of the wound.
6. If necessary, trim the product.
7. If necessary, secure Mepilex Lite with a bandage or other system.

Mepilex Lite may be left in place for up to 7 days, depending on the condition of the wound and surrounding area and in accordance with the healthcare professional's advice.
A change in wound treatment often results in an increase in exudate levels.
Carefully monitor the condition of the wound and increase the frequency of changes.
