Powder spray dressing for topical use.

Characteristics

Sofargen Powder Spray is useful for the local treatment of small skin lesions such as abrasions, grazes, cuts, superficial wounds and dermatological conditions in general.
It contains light kaolin and silver sulfadiazine.
The particular formulation allows you to control exudates by creating an environment that facilitates the natural healing process and provides an effective barrier to microbial penetration.
It can be easily removed by cleaning the wound with saline solution.

Composition

Light kaolin 9.8 g; micronized silver sulfadiazine 0.1 g; calcium gluconate monohydrate 0.1 g; butane as propellant 70.0 g.

Directions for use and Dosage

Shake the can vigorously for a few seconds before use.
After properly cleansing the wound, make sure to direct the nozzle of the dispenser towards the wound to be treated, keeping the can upright at a distance of about 10 cm from the surface to be treated.
Then apply a uniform layer of on the wound, pressing the dispenser button for a few moments.
The application must continue without interruption once or twice a day until complete healing.
At each new application, thoroughly cleanse the wound with water or saline solution.
The powder contained in will tend to remain attached to the wound (due to the presence of exudate) or to macerated skin, while on the surrounding healthy, dry skin it will tend to remove spontaneously.
Where appropriate or necessary, cover the lesion with a plaster or bandage depending on its size.

Warnings

Patients with known individual hypersensitivity to the components should not use the product.
It is recommended not to use the product for more than 4 weeks.
Consult your doctor in case of incomplete healing or if unwanted symptoms occur.
Protect your face when spraying the upper part of the body.
Avoid inhaling the mist.
In case of accidental ingestion or inhalation of the powder, consult your doctor.
The dispensed powder may tend to become brown when exposed to light, due to the silver ion present in the formulation.
However, this phenomenon does not compromise its effectiveness and safety.

Storage

Store below 40°C.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
This date refers to the product in its intact packaging and stored correctly.
Pressurized and flammable container: do not puncture or tamper with the can in any way, even when the product is used up.
The product contains flammable propellant under pressure: do not use near open flames or heat sources.
Do not store in direct sunlight.
Exposure to temperatures above 50°C may cause the container to burst.
After use, dispose of the can in accordance with current regulations.
Does not contain ozone-depleting propellant gases.
