Indications

Mayday oral suspension is indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux and for the alleviation of associated symptoms such as heartburn, acid regurgitation, reflux esophagitis, heartburn, cough, and laryngopharyngeal inflammation.

Mayday is also indicated for heartburn due to indigestion. It performs a mechanical action thanks to the presence of pure Aloe vera juice at double concentration enriched with sodium alginate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate, and calcium carbonate.

The presence of sodium bicarbonate and sodium and calcium carbonates also reduces stomach hyperacidity. Pure Aloe vera juice, due to the natural presence of polysaccharides, protects the mucous membranes by adhering to the walls of the esophagus and stomach, forming a protective film that shields the tissues from gastric juices or irritants. The properties of doubly concentrated pure Aloe vera juice are complemented by those of sodium alginate, which, upon contact with stomach acid, reacts to form a gel. The gel, trapping the bubbles of carbon dioxide released by the carbonates contained in the formulation, settles in the upper part of the stomach, forming a barrier that mechanically prevents gastric juices from rising towards the esophagus. The product does not contain water as a diluent because it is made from sodium alginate. completely replaced by pure, unpasteurized, non-carbon-filtered Aloe vera juice, doubly concentrated through the exclusive ReversOsmose process.

Composition

Internal juice and fillet of the leaf of Aloe vera L. (Syn. Aloe Barbadensis Miller)*, Sodium alginate, Sodium bicarbonate, Calcium carbonate, Sodium carbonate, Polyacrylic acid, Titanium dioxide, Mint flavoring, Sodium Propyl-P-Hydroxybenzoate, Sodium Methyl-P-Hydroxybenzoate, Sucralose.

Directions for use and dosage

It is recommended to take 1 or 2 10 ml sachets after main meals and at bedtime. It may be necessary to take the product for 2-3 consecutive days to relieve symptoms. The product should be taken as is and undiluted.

Warnings

The product is for oral use. Use of this product is contraindicated in cases of known individual hypersensitivity or allergy to the product or any of its components. The presence of sodium requires particular caution when administering the product to those suffering from hypertension, heart failure, or kidney failure. During pregnancy, breastfeeding, and in children under twelve years of age, consult your doctor before use. Do not exceed the indicated dose. Use the product according to the instructions for use. If used concomitantly with other products, check with your doctor for possible interactions. Do not use the device beyond the expiration date. Do not use if the sachet or packaging is damaged. Each sachet is for single use and should be opened only immediately before use: do not reuse partially used sachets as this may result in the product being ineffective or contaminating the product. Keep out of reach of children.
