Characteristics
HYLO-COMOD is a sterile, preservative-free solution containing 1 mg/ml of sodium hyaluronate, a citrate buffer, sorbitol and water.

Directions for use
In case of itching, burning or eyes that tire easily, if you feel the sensation of sand In the eyes, this could be due to a lack of moisture on the ocular surface. If you spend a lot of time in air-conditioned environments, for example, or after intense computer work, the natural tear film that normally covers the ocular surface breaks down more quickly. To keep the ocular tissue healthy, it is necessary to continuously lubricate it with a tear film.
HYLO-COMOD contains the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found inside the eye but also in other parts of the body. Thanks to its special physical properties, it forms a continuous, moist, lubricating, stable, and long-lasting film on the ocular surface that is not easily removed. However, this film does not cause blurring of vision and protects the eyes from dryness and irritation for a long time.
Wearing hard or soft contact lenses will be more comfortable if you use HYLO-COMOD because it is more comfortable to wear. does not create encrustations or residues.
HYLO-COMOD is preservative-free and is therefore generally well tolerated. Furthermore, HYLO-COMOD does not contain phosphates, thus avoiding complications such as residues in the cornea.
The commercially available COMOD system releases 10 ml of solution, equivalent to approximately 300 drops. For technical reasons, once the liquid is finished, a small amount remains in the bottle.
HYLO-COMOD can be used indefinitely.
The HYLO-COMOD bottle is strictly personal; do not allow other people to use it.
Instructions for use
Remove the cap before use.
Before the first application, turn the bottle upside down with the dropper facing down and press on the bottom of the bottle to release the first drop from the dropper. The bottle is now ready for use for subsequent applications. Hold the bottle upside down with your thumb on the top and your fingers on the bottom.
Support the hand holding the bottle with your free hand.
Tilt your head back slightly and press quickly and firmly on the bottom of the bottle. This activates the mechanism for releasing ONE drop. Thanks to the COMOD System's special valve mechanism, the size and speed of release of a drop are always the same, regardless of the pressure applied.
Slowly close your eyes to allow the fluid to spread over the surface of the eye.
After use, immediately replace the cap on the bottle, making sure there is no liquid residue on the dropper. During instillation, avoid any contact between the dropper of the bottle and the eye or the skin of the face.
Warnings
If using other eye drops, it is necessary to wait at least 30 minutes between applications and HYLOCOMOD must always be used last. However, any ophthalmic ointments must always be applied after using HYLO-COMOD.
Since it does not contain preservatives, HYLO-COMOD is well tolerated even when used for a long period of time. In very rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions such as burning or excessive tearing have occurred which ended immediately upon discontinuation of use of HYLO-COMOD.
HYLO-COMOD may cause allergic reactions. It can be used in children, during pregnancy, and during breastfeeding.
Frequency and duration of use of Hylo-comod
Use HYLO-COMOD according to the instructions provided by the doctor or specialist who prescribed the contact lenses. Generally, apply one drop of HYLO-COMOD three times a day in each eye. If necessary, use the product more frequently. If you use HYLO-COMOD more frequently (for example, more than 10 times a day), contact your ophthalmologist. HYLO-COMOD is suitable for long-term treatment. As with all problems, consult your ophthalmologist if they persist.
Do not use HYLO-COMOD in case of hypersensitivity to any of the excipients.

Store at room temperature.
HYLO-COMOD can be used for 6 months after opening.
Do not use after the expiry date.
