COMPOSITION
Sodium hyaluronate, distilled ginkgo biloba water, distilled blueberry water, distilled fennel water, distilled gotu kola water, boric acid, sodium tetraborate, sodium chloride, water. Contains no preservatives.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
The product is for external ophthalmic use only. The product is for single-patient use. Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged or not perfectly closed when first opened. During application, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the tip of the bottle. Do not use if you are known to be incompatible with any component of the preparation. If you experience any side effects, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package. The expiry date refers to the intact and properly stored product. Keep out of reach of children.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Hyalistil PLUS protects and repairs the ocular mucosa and is indicated for refreshing, soothing, and lubricating irritated mucosa or in cases of dry eye problems. The most common causes of dry eye and irritation include: wearing contact lenses for many consecutive hours; environmental factors (air conditioning, excessive exposure to solar radiation, wind, smoke, pollution); Dry eye caused by excessive study hours, too many hours of computer work, or dry eye syndrome.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The medical device is also suitable for contact lens wearers. Before the first administration, remove the tamper-evident and remove the protective cap. Instill 1-2 drops in each eye by lightly pressing the single-dose container. Sodium hyaluronate gives the medical device mucomimetic and viscoelastic properties to ensure adequate lubrication of the ocular surface, protecting it from the friction generated by eye movements. Furthermore, the polymer is able to retain water: for this reason, the solution is able to keep the ocular surface moistened and increase the stability of the tear film, protecting the ocular mucosa from external agents. Ginkgo biloba improves visibility at long distances, relieves tiredness and redness of the eyes and ocular mucous membranes. This plant, together with centella asiatica, are used as they are particularly useful in helping to reduce irritation. Blueberry is used in the formulation for its refreshing properties: it provides relief to tired eyes and acts as a protection for the ocular mucosa against atmospheric agents and environmental factors. Fennel is used in ocular disorders to soothe the burning sensation and, together with blueberry, are used for their restorative action.
