Indications

Hirudoid 25000 IU is a white gel for skin use with a characteristic odor containing glycosaminoglycan polysulfate.
It is indicated for treating:

• Inflammation of a vein located under the surface of the skin (superficial phlebitis) or a blood clot causing inflammation of a vein (thrombophlebitis).
• Inflammation caused by the dilation of a vein (varicose veins).
• Hematomas.

Hirudoid 25000 IU It contains the active ingredient glycosaminoglycan polysulfate, which has anti-inflammatory and antithrombotic properties, meaning it prevents the formation of blood clots (thrombi).

Ingredients

Active ingredients

Directions for use and Dosage

If the inflammation is not particularly extensive, the recommended dose is 3-5 cm of cream 1-2 times a day.
It is possible to spread the dose of cream on a gauze, then apply it to the area to be treated. treat.
If the inflammation is extensive the recommended dose is 25 cm of cream per day for 3-4 days, after which the dose should be halved and treatment continued until the symptoms disappear.

Warnings

The use, especially if prolonged, of products for skin use can give rise to sensitization phenomena; in this case, treatment must be discontinued.
Hirudoid contains propylene glycol which can cause skin irritation.
