Indications

Amukine Med 0.05% is a disinfectant skin solution, based on sodium hypochlorite, which can be used for disinfecting broken skin in case of:

• wounds;
• sores;
• burns.

Composition

100 ml of Amukine Med solution contains:

Active ingredient

Sodium hypochlorite 0.057 g (active chlorine 0.055 g).

Excipients

Sodium chloride, Sodium hydrate, Sodium tetraborate decahydrate, Purified water.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to sodium hypochlorite or to any of the excipients.

How is Amukine Med used?

This cutaneous solution does not need to be further diluted and can be applied to the area to be treated through:

washing, bathing, irrigation; soaked compresses; moistened bandages.

Applications can be repeated several times a day up to 6 times in 24 hours.

Warnings and precautions

The product, indicated for external use only, should not be used for long periods of time: if no improvements are noted after a short period of treatment, contact your doctor. Furthermore, the use, especially if prolonged, of topical products can give rise to sensitization phenomena. Accidental ingestion or inhalation can have serious, sometimes fatal, consequences. Avoid contact with eyes. The presence of organic materials (proteins, serum, blood) reduces the antiseptic's activity. Topical application of the product can dissolve blood clots and cause bleeding. Keep this medicine out of the reach and sight of children.

Interactions

Avoid the simultaneous use of other antiseptics and detergents.

Side effects

Hypochlorite solutions can be irritating to the skin: intolerance (burning or irritation) may occur in some cases. Cases of allergic contact dermatitis have been reported. Pregnancy and breastfeeding: There are no known contraindications to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
