Product Description

Dermatological preparation for the treatment of adiposity and cellulite.

Indications

Somatoline 0.1% + 0.3% Skin Emulsion is indicated for localized adiposity accompanied by cellulite.

Indicated in adults.

Composition

Active ingredients

100 g of emulsion contain: levothyroxine 100 mg, escin 300 mg.

Excipients

Glyceryl monostearate A.E., xanthan gum, liquid paraffin, decyl oleate, non-crystallizing sorbitol 70%, polyacrylamide isoparaffin laureth-7, imidazolidinylurea, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, citric acid monohydrate, rose fragrance, purified water.

Directions for use and Dosage

Sachets: Apply 20 g of product locally per day (equal to 2 sachets) for the first two consecutive days, then 10 g of product (equal to 1 sachet) per day or every other day.
If the product is to be used on the thighs, apply 1 sachet (10 g) to each thigh for the first two days.
The following days, half a sachet (5 g) per thigh.
If the skin is oily or thickened, it is advisable to first wash the area to be treated, dry well and then perform a simple massage until slight redness is produced; then proceed with the application of the treatment; Clinical results generally begin to become evident towards the end of the second week of treatment.
Safety and efficacy in children and adolescents have not yet been demonstrated.

Warnings

The use, especially if repeated or prolonged, of topical products can give rise to sensitization phenomena.
Where this occurs, If this occurs, discontinue treatment and assess the need to institute appropriate therapy.
Do not use near mucous membranes.
Contains parahydroxybenzoates which may cause allergic reactions (even delayed).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or to any of the excipients.
Iodine intolerance.
Generally contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Interactions

There are no phenomena of intolerance or incompatibility with other drugs.

Side effects

Very rarely, cases with symptoms attributable to altered thyroid function have been reported.
Report any suspected adverse reaction.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

There are no known experimental or clinical data that argue against the use of the product in pregnancy.
However, prudence advises against using the product during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
