Characteristics

Apromé Frollini is a food for special medical purposes, formulated for the dietary management of patients with Chronic Kidney Failure (CRF), Phenylketonuria, and Parkinson's disease treated with Levodopa. This product is characterized by a low protein, sodium, phosphorus, and potassium content, thus meeting the nutritional needs of patients with CKD. Furthermore, it has a reduced phenylalanine content, ideal for those suffering from Phenylketonuria. Thanks to its limited protein content, Apromé Frollini is also suitable for Parkinson's patients treated with Levodopa, as it does not interfere with the absorption of this amino acid. However, it is important to evaluate the degree of dysphagia and malnutrition problems in patients undergoing Levodopa therapy.

Ingredients

Corn starch, tapioca starch, vegetable oil (palm), sugar, maltodextrin, glucose syrup, honey; raising agent: ammonium bicarbonate; thickener: pectin; emulsifier: sunflower lecithin; flavoring.
