Follow-on milk powder for children from 6 to 12 months.
Characteristics
Nidina Optipro 2 by Nestlé is the follow-on milk indicated for infants from 6 months of age.
Properties
- Vitamins C and D contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system;
- Vitamin D contributes to the normal development of bones and teeth;
- DHA contributes to normal brain development and vision (beneficial effect 100 mg/day)

Preparation
To keep the greatest number of lactic ferments alive, the boiled water must be cooled to a temperature suitable for the infant before adding the Powder.
Use only the measuring spoon included in the package, which contains a level 4.5 g of powder. Repeated use of larger or smaller amounts of powder than indicated may cause dehydration or reduced nutritional intake. Do not change the quantities of powder and water indicated in the Feeding Table without consulting your doctor.
Important: Prepare only one bottle at a time and consume it immediately. Follow the instructions exactly. Do not store any leftover milk. Check the temperature of the milk on the back of your hand before feeding. Do not leave the baby unattended during feeding to avoid choking. Using unboiled water and bottles, or incorrect reconstitution and administration, may pose a health risk to the infant. Prepare the milk only at mealtimes and consume it immediately.
Warnings
Breast milk is the ideal food for infants, and breastfeeding should last as long as possible. If breast milk is completely or partially lacking, consult your pediatrician before choosing a follow-on formula.
