Indications
Povi-Iodine 100 is an antiseptic based on 10% P.V.P. Iodine (1% active iodine), in a ready-to-use solution for use in the following cases:
- preparation of the surgical field;
- disinfection of the skin before injection therapy;
- use as an antiseptic-microbiocide in medical clinics.
Packaging suitable for integrating first aid kits.
The product is a CE Medical Device.
Composition
Active ingredient: Polyvinylpyrrolidone-iodine 10 g.
Excipients: Alcohol ethoxylate, dibasic sodium phosphate, anhydrous citric acid, glycerin, and purified water to 100 g.
Directions for use and dosage
Dab with a cotton ball generously soaked in Povi-Iodone 100.
Avoid the simultaneous use of other antiseptics and detergents.
Contact time
From 30 seconds to 5 minutes.
Warnings
In case of hypersensitivity, consult a doctor. Reduce use if iodine is present.
Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.
Keep out of reach of children.
Storage
Store at room temperature and away from light.
Shelf life: 3 years.
The expiration date applies to the product in its intact packaging and in perfect condition.
